It needed a drink of water! It’s why I don’t work on my bikes anymore. In the past, I’ve taken engine’s out, changed piston rings etc etc. But today my GTR needed the water topping up. Over an hour later….. Remove the top glove box (luckily there were no gloves in it). Two bolts. Remove the panel at the side of the screen. Three bolts. Remove the fairing panel with the side fins. Two bolts. Remove the main side fairing panel. Three more bolts. All Allen Bolts, but not the same size, oh no. That’s too easy. Let’s make them different sizes. Top up the water (10 seconds). Put it all back together. That’s a chunk of riding time I’ll never get back. Do things need to be that difficult. You know it’s not straightforward when you find a series of YouTube videos showing you just how to put coolant in it.
