It’s a good forecast today so if you are out riding, be careful. Roads which have been left damaged by the recent bad weather could catch you out.

You don’t know just how deep an innocent looking ‘puddle’ is and even where roads have had emergency repairs carried out, those repairs may not have set sufficiently to take a banked over bike on a bend. Drain covers that may have been dislodged by flooding may not have been reset.

If you haven’t ridden for a while then remember that you need time to ‘warm up’ just like your bike does.

The sun is shining but this is the most dangerous weather condition for any rider as we tend to drop our guard.
