A change of role today. A different system, (but with the same outcome, we hope). Waiting for the candidate for their IAM Roadsmart Advanced Motorcycle Test. Why not give it ago.

Buyer Beware! Bogus Brake Parts. On a consumer programme this morning it highlighted the case of bogus, defective brake parts being sold on ebay. Suzuki ordered a product recall on faulty front brake reservoirs and master cylinders on their models. A rogue mechanic at a dealership in Romford was changing the parts (as required) but instead of destroying the defective parts, he kept them and then resold them privately on ebay, (in an apparently new and unused condition), to unsuspecting bikers. Potentially putting lives at risk. The programme showed the excellent work done by investigators at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency to bring the rogue to justice. The Romford dealership were not aware and no blame was put on them. Buyer Beware.
