I’ve been marshalling the Iron Mountain Cycle Sportif in Gwent Paul & Stu were working hard in Cardiff. Rhys, Ryan, Spiro & Kris all completed their CBT today.
Hot conditions like we had today can be just as challenging as heavy rain and cold so a big well done to them. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Someone brought the new Police Spec Kawasaki GTR 1400 for a visit. Coming to a rear view mirror near you??
It’s on Demo so doesn’t actually have the word ‘Police’ on it but it is fully kitted out & operational on the streets of South Wales.
Whilst the rider was in my house eating all my cake I was out seeing if any of the bits on his bike would fit mine!! From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Training today up in Merthyr and up on Storey Arms bumped into Shaun who passed his test with us a while ago. This is what he bought! His Kawasaki ZZR 1400.
Lovely job. He’s still enjoying it and says its the best thing he’s ever done.
1st Class! Give us a call if you want to learn to ride one of these! From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Youth Cymru Road Runner scheme. Vale of Glamorgan.
We were pleased to be supporting the annual Road Runner event based at RAF St. Athan over the last 2 days. The scheme is aimed at young drivers (or potential drivers) and is a Multi Agency campaign to reduce road casualties. Involving the Police, Fire Service, road Safety Officers & Youth Groups. Sponsored this year by UPS.
We were giving presentations to school groups from throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.
A great event. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Andrew did his CBT with us a few weeks ago and enjoyed the sunshine on a visit to the test centre on his step up day today. First time on a 600. A great day for him & looking forward to arranging his Mod 1 test. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Here is Karen showing good skills on the figure of 8 exercise on her CBT today. Took to the Scooter with ease.
First time on a bike and even managed to get around Culverhouse Cross roundabout, not just once but twice! (We had to get to McDonald’s the other side)!
Well done to her. Enjoy it. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
