Motorcycle Training news, from 1st Class Rider Training – Cardiff.

Very Refreshing! Had a fantastic day out yesterday, just doing some refresher training before we depart on our 3 Countries Course next Wednesday. 200 twisty miles up through Mid Wales. Looking forward to the start of the course, but a busy weekend of cbts to come first. It’s the only way to travel!!

It’s a Clean Sheet! Well done to Steven who took his Big Bike Mod 2 test in Merthyr this afternoon. Not only did he pass at his first attempt he came back in with a clean sheet, with no faults recorded. A great result for him. Well done.

Nerves of Steel! What a day for Mikaela. She was booked in for her Mod 2 Big Bike test today in Merthyr. But I received an email from her late last night saying that she wouldn’t be able to make it as someone had run into her car. I contacted her this morning to check if she still felt up to it we would get the bike to the test centre for her. She decided to go for it and arranged a hire car to get to Merthyr. Arriving in time to have a quick practice run with instructor Jeff. Cool as a cucumber & (to use a clean version of one of her own sayings) she nailed it! What a day. What a result! Well done Wonder Woman.

Something for the weekend?? He is Suhail & Sian starting their ‘Step Up Day’ today. Jeff explains the controls of the 600 preparing them for their first time on a big bike. With a practice session booked on the test centre site in Newport for later today, they are all keen to get going. By pure coincidence Suhail’s Son has booked a cbt for today…. Guess who with! He is in the classroom block in the background starting his course. Like Father like Son. Sian has been riding her KTM 125 and is keen to get on something bigger. She has a Monster waiting for her at home. (That’s a Ducati – not her Husband!!)
