The last day at Norms Cafe today. Sunshine & loads of bikes. Just like the good old days. Queuing out the door! But the sign has already been taken down. The end of an era.

A big day for Vini.

CBT yesterday and a Step Up day on to the 600 today. Took to the big bike with ease and a big build in his confidence. But a deflated finish as we got a puncture at the end of the day!

Gill goes Solo!

Gill renewed her CBT with us recently and stepped up to the 600 today to start her Direct Access Course.
Going ‘Solo’ as Gill is an experienced racer on a motorcycle & sidecar outfit! She was telling us tales of the track and of how she managed to shake off her sidecar passenger!

Your tyres are your only contact with the road – and if you look after your tyres…. They’ll remain your only contact with the road!!

Back from The Golden Arches!

Rhys & Vini at the end of their CBT today. The on road ride takes a break at The Golden Arches at Pontprennau for a debrief and a breather (for the Instructor….) before returning to the school.

Did Well in The Wells.

Here is Adam & Simon who both passed their Mod 2 bike tests in Llandrindod Wells yesterday.

Instructor Jeff guided them on the 70 mile run through Mid Wales to the test centre, and he brought them home again afterwards, smiling all the way.

Jamie passed his Mod 2 test at the first attempt today. Moving up from his own 125 to the Suzuki 500 with ease and showed good control skills.

Mock Mod 1 Charity Day.

We joined together today with Welshbiker’s Forum members & Bridgend Motorcycle Training at their Bridgend Training site for a fun day putting members through a Mock Module 1 test. The picture shows the Jury that you had to face in “The Seat of Shame” if you messed it up.

Well done to Tom who was the only one who managed to pass!!

But we raised £110 for charity which will be split half & half between our chosen charity, NSPCC & Blood Bikes.
