We were pleased to be on duty as part of the National Escort Group (Wales) for the Radnorshire Road Race. A 75 mile course through the Heart of Wales, taking the riders just over 3 hours.

Well done to Hannah who passed her Mod 1 bike test at her first attempt today. Keeping a clean sheet which is a great result. We celebrated on the way home with a Large Fruity Snow Cone. (Orange, Strawberry & Grape flavoured!). And it was well deserved in the extreme heat today.

Mod2 tests have started again in Bridgend and here is our first one. Neil is all smiles after passing his big bike test this morning.

Those are Michal’s words not mine. After passing his Mod 1 test with us today, gaining a clean sheet. The examiner called it a text book ride.
Michal had previously trained and failed with another training school (twice) so decided to give us a go.

Why don’t you decide, like Michal, if it was money well spent.

On duty today with NEGWales on the Radnorshire Road Race Competition.

Starting in Llandrindod Wells in Mid Wales. A race group of 75 riders with a four lap course totalling 75 miles. (75 very fast miles – these riders were sustaining speeds of 40mph on the flat and on the descents…. Well we had to get out of the way). A great event. Our Romans & Roundheads Rideout today took us around the scenic rolling hills of Caerleon, Usk and Raglan. Thanks to all who came along despite the threat of heavy rain. Over 120 fantastic miles done and back home before the rain.
