Motorcycle Training news, from 1st Class Rider Training – Cardiff.

The Last One For Now. This is our last free training day for the scheme funded by the Welsh Government & local Councils. We are awaiting a decision on continued funding for the new year. Here is Dave, Mike, Mark, Dean, Stuart, & Dave with Instructor Russ. The classroom session involved a visit from Police Motorcyclist, Jeff to talk about further training under the Police run Bikesafe & other schemes. A great day for all, and it was free. We’ll done to the Welsh Government & local councils for this great initiative. We were pleased to be part of it.

What are you doing tomorrow? We’ve got 1 free space on our Free Training Days. Starting at 8am in Cardiff, this would suit an already qualified rider and using your own bike. If you fancy it, text me on 07545567273.

And the Season starts again! This is the start of the two race, Betty Pharaoh Leg Stretchers event in The Vale of Glamorgan. A great curtain raiser for our National Escort Group programme. The route was from Cowbridge through Ogmore & Southerndown taking in stunning views along the heritage coastline before returning to Cowbridge. Three laps for these riders, and 2 laps for the ‘junior’ race. A great excuse to ride a motorbike.

Nothing can Eclipse the 1st Class Training! Running a joint Commuter Safe & Scooter Smart course today. Funded by the Welsh Assembly & local councils, the training is free to the riders. I’m pictured here with Lewis & Cameron who were riding their bikes having previously completed a Cbt, and Instructor Russell with Mike and Rhydian, both full licence holders who use their bikes for work in Cardiff and The Vale. An opening group discussion covering all aspects of rider safety, such as junctions, filtering and tail gating, before taking to the road for an extended road training session. And it’s free! Out of this World!
