Taking a break in the Brecon Beacons during their training today.
Anthony who was enjoying his first full day on our 600 (officially that is…. He’s got an ER6 at home). And on the right is Nicky who went on to pass his Mod 2 bike test in Merthyr this afternoon, with just 2 minor faults. A great result for him.
Anthony is now looking forward to arranging his Mod 1 test with us, after doing his Cbt elsewhere.
Nicky is now on eBay buying a 600 cc Honda.
Well done to them for a great day. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
The scooters were out in force on a Cbt yesterday. Pictured here is Lucy and Ryan on our Piaggio Scooters and Tim, getting to grips with the geared 125.
A wet start soon gave way to sunshine for a great day for them all.
Ryan has a scooter of his own already, Lucy is now in the market for one and Tim is considering doing the Direct Access course in the future.
Piaggio Free…. Too right we are…. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
In order to make yourself more conspicuous “you could wear a light or brightly coloured helmet”.
Take your pick! At 1st Class we believe that a brightly coloured helmet is more visible on the road than many of the Hi Viz jackets currently in use. In a line of traffic it is the riders head, being the highest point, that would become visible first.
Particularly important if your bike has a fairing or screen fitted or the rider is obscured by a top box or rucksack for example, as these features can obscure your hi viz jacket.
So the choice of helmet colour can be your best and most visible asset.
If you want to get ahead… Get a hat… And a “light or brightly coloured” one at that. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Gareth allows himself a wry smile after passing his Mod 2 test in Swansea today. With just a couple of rider faults he kept his nerves in check and had a good ride.
Congratulations to Rory who passed his Module 2 bike test on his 125, in Swansea today.
He now has a full but restricted bike licence and can ride any bike up to 33bhp.
After the changes coming into force in January this test/licence option won’t be available to riders of his age.
He’s on the road and ripping up his L plates.
If you want to do the same then give us a call. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
