As the torch arrived in Cardiff we headed to Llandrindod Wells where the weather was hotter than the Olympic Flame. And what a day we had with two Gold Medals!
Pictured here is Ryan & Matt who both passed their Module 2 big Bike tests at their first attempt today in the scorching Mid Wales Town.
Well done to them both. Who are now out to test ride everything they can get their hands on.
You might not be able to get your hands on Olympic Tickets, but they’ve both got the best ticket…… to ride

Today we have been giving another Safer Driver Presentation to a well known Cardiff University. Aimed at improving the safety of their staff and employed drivers.
A 3 hour classroom presentation which questions attitude and awareness whilst driving and this can be followed up by a practical on road session, using a former Police Class 1, car Driving Instructor.
So if you run a business and employ drivers, or employ staff who drive as part of their working role then why not invite us along to help to make your staff safer drivers.
Such courses have been proven to reduce the crash statistics for company vehicles. These course consistently draw ‘excellent, 5*’ feedback ratings from those that attend.
So keep your staff in work (and not on the sick) and keep your cars on the road (and not in the body shop).
Call me to discuss the details and we may even come along and give a free taster course to see if its for you.
There are still a few spaces left on our Wales 8 Tour.
‘Why Wales 8’? We are going to tour Wales in a figure of 8. Using the Biker Friendly BnB in Llangurig as our base. Three days and 2 nights BnB with an experienced tour guide to take you on some of the best biking roads Wales has to offer, with some spectacular scenery. Just £160.
We will be taking in the Newquay area on the West Coast, up to Anglesey in the North and Llangollen and down to Chepstow in the South East.
You’ve not seen the beauty of Wales until you’ve seen it through a motorcycle visor.
Give me a call now to secure your place. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074

Here is Ben & Max practising their Left and Right turns before venturing out on the road, during their CBT today. Enjoying the sunshine and a trip to MacDonalds for the half way debrief.
Max can’t wait to get his own bike out on the road and Ben is booked in to start his Direct Access course at the beginning of June.
Also, well done to Anwar and James who completed their CBT yesterday. Anwar, who had ridden in Pakistan could handle the bike but kept me on my toes as he got to grips with riding in the traffic here in the UK. I think some of the rules must be a bit different in Pakistan!
James is also looking to start his Direct Access training in early June.
Well done to all these new budding bikers…..1st Class Riders one and all. From: http://www.facebook.com/pages/p/195837770466074
Well done to Jamie and Martin, pictured here at the Swansea Test Centre after passing their Mod 1 Bike Tests. The test almost didn’t go ahead for Jamie as the Examiner took exception to the quality of his trousers! A thick pair of combat pants and even an extra layer underneath didn’t satisfy the Examiner so off to the toilet together went Jamie and Martin.
Emerging seconds later wearing each others trousers! Talk about a quick change.
Jamie calmly went on to pass with a clean sheet. Great results for them both. And a big thank you to Martin for so readilly dropping his pants! The alternative would have been Jamie having to squeeze into mine for the test. A tall order eh?
And we even had time for an Ice Cream down at The Mumbles Big Apple!.
